I arrived safe and sound in Michigan after a long and tiring
day travelling! I was feeling a wee bit better, nothing a good night’s sleep
would not fix! The train from Chicago left one hour late and was nearly an hour
and a half late into East Lansing. Then Rick took me shopping so it was very
late by the time I hit the sack. I woke just after noon, lol!
Friday to Wednesday
Just chilled out, watched some TV, spent time with Fluffy and
read the instructions for looking after the fur babies for four days when I
return. I went downstairs with Barb to check out the four down there: Sam (large
black), two brothers names forgotten for the moment and Fuzzy who is on meds.
Thursday
We went to see Hobbs and Shaw at the IMax Cinema near Lansing.
It was brilliant, lots of action, great stunts, great cast and lots of humour!
I really enjoyed it, well worth seeing if you like action! The chemistry
between Statham and Johnson is obvious and I imagine they had a lot of fun making
the film, there was also a lovely cameo from Helen Mirren! We had pleasant
dinner at the Delhi (Del-high) Café on the way home.
Friday
Today was a day of sorting out what to take to South Haven
for about 12 days for me.
We left about 2 pm and I had Fluffy for company, in
her travelling accommodation, lol! I thought she was very good and did not make
too much noise.
When she did get unsettled I would unzip the side a wee bit and
stroke her for a while. I have lived near a place called Hastings both in England
and New Zealand, I found number 3 today, lol!
