We then went out for a short country drive and took Winklin with us. It was his first time in the car and not in a carrier, he was wearing his harness and leash.
It was very mild for this time of the year and there were a few people fishing, walking, in boats and one guy on a jetski. It is a popular spot and, in the summer, it is packed out.
Winklin walked so far then had to be carried so Brent sat down with him on one of the benches.
We came back via the entry to Dunnville and took photos of and with Muddy the Cat Fish. We had to wait for a wedding party to have their photos taken but they were not very long.
Most of them came in straight away, Snappy and Haylow were the last, the former can be tricky but he eventually came in of his own accord.
Haylow stayed out longer in the garde, I went out to call for her, then Jenny came out and we suddenly heard a thud on the deck as Haylow arrived, lol, she must have wanded over to the far side. All was good in Kittty Land, lol! Winklin decided one of the cubes was a good pace to sack out and the others were spread around the house as is often the case.
The main part of the house was built in 1850s and it has been updated with a new part added on. There is plenty of light and it is so spacious, the cats have plenty of room to roam as well as many spaces to relax in, they are indeed very lucky! The in-built, large fish tank has been fully covered by plexiglass as Spruce in particular loves to try and catch the fish.He used to put his paw through the gap and into the water, lol, he still tries to get his paw under but it is more difficult!
I did manage to stroke Januka after tea, for the first time, she was in the laundry sleeping in a bed beside Joey and Jenny stroked her so I joined in and stayed on a wee bit longer, she has such soft fur!
I worked on the blog and decided an early night was in order!
