I had some sleep last night and a lazy Sunday morning followed. The weather was sunny and warm. Steve was out truck driving so Terri and I went round to see Chris, Sonya, Aiden and Maddison. I gave them their T-Shirts and Aiden was showing his off by taking people to the bathroom (dark) as it is a glow in the dark shirt, lol!! I also gave them a NZ Calendar for 2017.
Sonya was full of useful information about Pigeon Forge and it made the place come to life. It is certainly exciting and we might even leave on Tuesday after Steve gets home from work! Terri is keen to do this!!!

We had some of the lovely carrot cake Terri had bought the day before and a nice cup of tea when we got home. once Steve arrived it was time for us to leave for a cook out to celebrate the birthday of a friend of Steve and Terri!! Terri had made a hash brown casserole and if the smell was anything to go by it would be delicious.
The cook out was being held at the home of Bill and June, the latter is Steves's sister. it was a very pleasant evening and the food was good. The meat was deep fried turkey which is then chopped up into small pieces.
It was very good and the casserole was indeed delicious. There was also some home made Peach pie and that was sumptuous!!

Once home, going into my bedroom I noticed I had another couple of room mates (Ru and Swiper), lol!! I then sat down and was falling asleep so it was shower time and then to bed.
Monday
I had some good sleep although I was woken up in the middle of the night by Teddy talking to me about something, lol! It was a cloudy day although we did see the sun later, it was still warm! Hope came into my bedroom and after a good luck round she hopped on to the chair and then nearly fell off, lol!!
Today was my turn to cook brunch, my open omelet that I have made here before and it was by special request, lol! It was again well received!! It was also washing day and this was followed by ironing day, lol!!! I am all set for the trip to Pigeon Forge!
Meanwhile, Steve and Terri were busy cutting grass and tidying the car. We then set off for the Ice Cream Jersey Farm and it was extremely busy. The queue never shortened all the time we were in there eating our delicious ice cream.
Not long after we got home, Sarah arrived, she is going to cat and dog sit while we are at Pigeon Forge. She bought me some lovely flowers and a couple of souvenirs from her trip to California. I gave her a NZ Calendar for 2017.
I spent a frustrating time trying to find out why my NZ Super was not in my account. In trying to access my account the system sent me round in circles. Finally, there was a notice on the web site stating that the super had not been paid into accounts via a couple of banks, one of which was mine, panic over, lol!!!
We had a lovely tea, wings, fries and salad it was very tasty! Then it was time to finish the blog and think about going to bed!
