Sunday - Tuesday July 17 - 19 (Home and Wauseon)
Sunday
We all had a lazy day today, lol!!

The weather was pleasantly warm again although it is going to be quite a bit hotter later on in the week. Niko decided to relax on the shared bed!! Then it was Bruno's turn!

Later on, after ea, we went out to aget ice cream at one of Harry's favourite places!

I went to bed fairly late and after a short sleep we woken by lightening flashes outside. They went on for some considerable time before I heard any thunder.
There were two particularly loud bangs and not long after that the thunder stopped but the lightening continued for some time afterwards.
Consequently, I did not get that much sleep. Guido had joined me as the storm started and I am not sure who was comforting who, lol!! He is one gorgeous and very photogenic kitty!
Monday
The weather is getting warmer, nearing the 90 F mark although the evening was pleasantly cool. Lisa worked last night and needed a chill out day today so I also chilled out. I did go for a walk along the road and the corn round here is very high, the ears are also starting to grow in. The moon was nearly full and looked magnificent in the night sky. I did manage to catch Bruno chilling out this evening, lol!
Tuesday
It was a very warm day today with lots of sunshine. After breakfast I went out for a bike ride, the small circuit, which I rode today, is just over 6 km, about 3.8 miles. The larger circuit, which I hope to build up to, is just over 10 km, about 6.2 miles. When I returned for my ride the temperature was 93.5 F, it peaked at 95 F, lol!!

Later in the afternoon we went into Archbold as Lisa had some banking to do, we then travelled to Wauseon for the Super Cruise. These are held once a month and this is the second one I have been to.

There are so many cars on show, most are lovingly cared for and in immaculate order. We popped into Walmart first to pick up a few items we both needed. Then we found a good park in town very close to where the cars were all parked up.

I saw the longest stretch limo I have ever seen and the same company also has a party bus, very similar to the one we rode in to Deena's wedding.

There was a variety of cars, some are real vintage cars while others are from the mid 1900's. There were some more modern cars and these were mostly sports cars!
After wandering up and down the street, we ended up at Sullivan's Restaurant for some dinner. I had the shrimp and it was delicious!!

After a relaxed meal we headed home and were treated to a fabulous sunset, that is one positive about the flat land in Ohio, you do see the most fabulous sunrises and sunsets.

Once we arrived home I was waiting for darkness to take some photos of the full moon. I have not been able to get any good ones and did some reading on the Internet today to try and work out how I can do better.

I did make a better fist of it tonight but need to experiment further. I am contemplating the purchase of the next zoom up, I do have a 55-200 but I would love a 70-400, they are very expensive so it might just have to be on my wish list, lol!
Once Lisa went to work, I transferred all my photos to my laptop and wrote the blog. I was accompanied by Bruno's snoring, lol!
