It was another warm day but I managed my bike ride again. Today was washing day, I changed the sheets on my bed and dealt to them before putting my clothes through.
Later in the afternoon, Lisa's friend Shirley came to pick us p as we were going out for tea before we went to see "The Secret Lives of Pets" in Bryan. There were two special shows to support the Williams Humane Society and entry fee was one item to help them out. I had a four pack of thick paper towels and a bag of Temptations. This was such a good idea.
We were gong to have a bite to eat first before going to the 7 pm showing and went to the Union Street Grill, I had a very tasty BLT sandwich. We took our time as we were nice and early. shirley took a detour so I could get a coffee at Tim Horton's.
When we arrived at the theatre, there was already a bit of a queue but it did not take long to clear once the theatre was empty after the first showing. I did enjoy the film although it was probably not what I expected. There was a lot of humour and plenty of action and, as with many modern animated films was not really for children although there were many at the viewing.
Then it was home to bed after an enjoyable evening.
Thurday
I was even warmer today, in the mid 90s so I gave the bike ride a miss!! Later ih the afternoon we went out to Defiance as Lisa needed to do some shopping and I needed to see if I could find more of my favourite ICE flavour.
Lisa dropped me at Bigby Coffee house and I enjoyed a coffee while I waited for her. On the way home we stopped at Walmart and Meijer and I did manage to find my ICE!!
At home, Lisa made up two nice thin Pizza bases with sauce and I then added my toppings, bacon, red onion, green pepper and plenty of Mozzarella cheese!! It was delicious!
Friday
It was another day in the mid 90s and I decided to take my bike ride today. I was fairly hot when I got back, lol!! Later in the afternoon, I caught up on my ironing while the ribs and beans that Lisa had prepared for tea were cooking slowly.

Just before tea was ready, I made up a batch of Red Lobster Biscuits and, although I thought the dough looked a wee bit wet, they turned out well. This was my first attempt at doing this and I have to say it is very easy.
It was a delicious dinner and afterwards all I could do was relax on the sofa, lol!!
