Tuesday April 26 (Okemos & TCP)

Late last night the thunderstorms actually arrived and there were two rounds of them with quite a lot of lightening, there was also some heavy rain.

I did not sleep again so I rose fairly early and cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast. I sat and watched a film on the TV and Fluffy joined me, she loves being petted and is quite partial to tummy rubs as well.

We then went out to the Cat Project again. This time I just took a few photos of some of the cats in the main house, it was too cold to go wandering outside. It was also a very gloomy day.

When we returned, I finished most of my packing and then showered early as we were meeting some of Rick's family for dinner at Finleys.

Rick's son Michael, and his fiancé Alyssa, arrived soon after us followed a wee bit later buy his daughter Sara, and her partner Tiffany. We had a very pleasant evening and I thoroughly enjoyed the deliciously tender baby rib rack (half) along with the convivial company.

I farewelled Rick as he had the early work shift and I would not see him before I leave tomorrow, I then enjoyed a cup of tea before heading to bed.
