I did not have time to take many photos today as I was very busy. I did pop in on the fosters frequently for short visits and my goodness me, there was mayhem in there with all five finding their way over the "wall"!!
The positive thing was that at least one of them used the big litter box put outside the kitten area for Chrissy to use and it would have been quite a climb, lol!!
I put them back inside and later on in the day I put some more cardboard across as a temporary fix. Frosty and T-Rudi both still tried to climb out!! T-Rudi sure is one determined critter! I will put a better fix in place when I extend the area, for the last time, over the weekend. There is no more room to extend after that!!
They seem to like the new toy and at one point I found four of them asleep under the bridge while number five was asleep in the bed!! Frosty is quite funny, he tries to drag the towel around with his mouth, he has a firm grip on it while warning the others off, "This is MY towel", he is saying!
T-Rudi again enjoyed some wet food this evening and Frosty joined her!!
Wednesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (465, +220), Naza (475, +215), T-Rudi (375, +165), Frosty (535, +270), Cindy-Lou (495, +225)
Today was a very busy day for everyone here. I had my friends round for lunch, there are four girls between 6 and 12 years old and of course the kittens were a great attraction.
They had lots of stroking and some had cuddles.
It is good for them to be exposed to children like this as it is very quiet with just me. The kittens handled it well but when I went in after my friends had gone, they were all sound asleep!!!
Cindy-Lou was quite prominent today, trying to wash Chrissy's head then exploring the bridge. Naza was caught playing with Chrissy's tail and I do believe she is smiling, lol!! He then attacked then the bridge from underneath!! I love the one up one down view!!
They all continue to develop their skills in play and I have seen most crossing the toy bridge. There is lots wrestling going on now as well.
The bridge was certainly a good buy as they are growing in confidence and trying different things out. They do not need any more fancy toys, the cardboard tunnel and short tubes are providing plenty of scope.
There is some plateauing of weights but they seem healthy so I am not worried about that.
