Chrissy had obviously been exploring and had knocked a candle down off a book case. No damage done and all OK so decided I needed to put some things away!!!
This morning I put Chrissy and the kittens in their carry cage and shut them in the bathroom while I did a major re-shuffle of their room. I also vacuumed it thoroughly. It took me quite a while and Chrissy was not amused!!
The kittens were fine although they did run round sniffing everything when I put them back in their area. In another week I will do the final expansion of their area.

T-Rudi continues to run over for me to pick her up and I obliged a couple of times. She is such a fluff ball and very loving. However, once when I did not oblige her she kept crying and then, lo and behold she jumped up and was over the side, my first escapee and not the one I thought it would be!! The others have seen her do it but are not interested, YET, in following her.
Later on I went to check on them again and what a sight, T-Rudi had come over the side to get a private session at the milk bar, lol!! She does need the extra weight so I left her there until Chrissy moved and went back in with the others.
Monday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (420, +175), Naza (445, +185), T-Rudi (340, +130), Frosty (485, +220), Cindy-Lou (460, +190)
As you can see below, all made significant weight gains over the last 24 hours.
Possibly this is the effect of the biscuits some are eating and this could mean a bit more at the milk bar for those who are not!!
Well, when kittens begin to eat solid food it only means one thing, what goes in must come out, lol!!! Frosty was the first, he had a wee bit of trouble and I had to help him a bit, paper towel to the rescue!!!!
A few days ago I ordered a cute toy for the kittens, not too expensive, and it arrived today.
I decided to put the bottom half in their area for the moment, the top will go on later when they are a bit bigger.
It is a small bridge to encourage climbing, the top half adds on a top layer and some hanging balls for them to play with.
They were extremely suspicious of the new object, but T-Rudi stuck with it and climbed over the bridge, I said she is fearless, lol!! She has been over the side a few times now but today saw two more join her, Frosty and then Naza.
That is Frosty trying to climb up, he took ages to get over and did not know how to land!!! He is the one on the top of the "fence", lol! Meanwhile, Magda has her face in the biscuits while Cindy-Lou surveyed the damage to the tunnel then decided to investigate the new toy!
I came into the room later to find the T-Rudi, Frosty and Naza at the milk bar but on the wrong side of the cardboard fence. Obviously 12 inches is not high enough!
I went to the SPCA today to get more litter and I also managed to get some wet kitten food. T-Rudi is not eating the biscuits yet and I thought if I could get her interested in some wet food it might help her put weight on. I put a wee bit on a finger and held her while she sniffed it, the next minute she bit my finger, lol!! I took this as a good sign and put a wee bit of food in a bowl. She got stuck in and seemed to enjoy it, the others were not that interested apart from Frosty who sampled a few mouthfuls. T-Rudi ate like a hungry kitten so she will get some twice a day, not a huge amount but enough to help her grow.
So an interesting day with some new things happening, I am not sure about my escape artists though, methinks I will have to do something sooner rater than later!
Tuesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (445, +200), Naza (460, +200), T-Rudi (355, +145), Frosty (505, +240), Cindy-Lou (480, +210)
