The kittens are becoming more active and playing with the few toys I have put in their area. They are all still using the litter box so I am very pleased with how easily that happened. Just goes to prove that cats are innately clean creatures!
Cindy-Lou is definitely the shiest of them all but even she was taken by the 'eyeball'!!
Chrissy seems to be spending more time on the outside and I don't blame her. Every time she enters the area she is fair game for the fight that usually ensues over the milk bar.
Photo three shows T-Rudi and Naza while in the fourth photo, T-Rudi is asking me to pick her up for a cuddle!
The extra activity has certainly affected their weights but they all seem very healthy and once they begin to eat kitten food I am sure their weights will increase quickly. They are all so sweet but I continue to fall in love with T-Rudi, she so enjoys being picked up and cuddled. She has a tiny squeak and uses it to let me know she wants up!!! She also squeaks when she uses the litter box, I think she is telling the world "Look what I can do!", lol!!
Saturday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (410, +165), Naza (445, +185), T-Rudi (330, +120), Frosty (460, +195), Cindy-Lou (440, +170)
Now I have two kittens that run in my direction when I come into the room, Frosty and T-Rudi. Frosty is not such a fan of being picked up but loves to be tickled, even on his tummy.
While I was playing with them a magical moment occurred, Cindy-Lou suddenly started eating the kitten biscuits.
I have been leaving a few on the floor for the last couple of days to see if they would eat. Magda then decided she would join in although Cindy-Lou gave out her very best warning noise, lol!! finally, Frosty thought he would see what they tasted like. This is such a good start and, hopefully, the other two will soon follow suit. They did not seem to have any issues chomping on the biscuits!
Photos 1 and 2 are of Frosty, he is going to be my escapologist!! Photos 3 and 4, Cindy-Lou and Frosty only have eye for the biscuits. Meanwhile, Naz and T-Rudi wonder what all the fuss is about. Photo 6, Magda joins her sister Cindy-Lou in a feeding frenzy, lol!!
They eat, sleep and play and the latter is happening for longer. It is so rewarding to see them and how quickly they develop. They still have blue eyes so the change in their eye colour will be the next stage of development.
It is good to see that T-Rudi has put some weight on again, she feels so light and is very fluffy!!
Sunday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (410, +165), Naza (450, +190), T-Rudi (340, +130), Frosty (475, +210), Cindy-Lou (440, +170)
