Sunday April 14 - Monday April 15 (Montgomery to Boynton Beach)

Sunday
It was an early rise today as we had to be at the airport by 9 am. I had checked in yesterday evening and they were offering money if passengers would change their flight to a later one so it is obviously overbooked!

i managed to stroke both Hari and Ziva as I said farewell to them. I made my farewell with Robert and we set off just after 7.45 am. As it was a Sunday morning we made excellent time and arrived at the airport at about 8.40 am. I dropped my bag in at the curbside check in and the guy printed my boarding pass along with my bag tags! I then said farewell to Mudjie and thanked her for a lovely time! She told me I was welcome to come back again, health permitting I would love to!

The plane took ages to board and it was half an hour late leaving. I am not sure why they do not load the main cabin from the back, it would save the long queue waiting to board. It was a pleasant flight, at one point we were warned there was some bad weather about half an hour ahead and the seat belt signs would go on. However, it was not very bumpy at all and there were more bumps as we approached Fort Lauderdale.

i was taken to the passenger pick up area and waited for some time before starting to worry a wee bit. Finally, Jackie arrived, she had been watching flight info and it said we would land at 2.40 pm, but we landed half an hour earlier so she had to fly herself, lol! it was the fastest she has ever made the trip from home to Fort Lauderdale airport!

We had a good trip through to Boynton Beach and we went to a large Publix where I bought the items I needed for my stay. I then grabbed a Starbucks and we made our way home. Abby was there to greet us and after, unpacking, I spent time on the patio with Jackie and Abby. we had chicken and potato salad for tea and, after a shower, I headed to bed. My sleeping pattern has still not regulated so I was rather tired, lol! 

Monday
After a leisurely breakfast, we headed out as Jackie had some chores to do. We were gong to lunch at the Banana Boat Restaurant but we were too late, the other restaurant on the water and close by was also closed so we ended up at a Panera Bread Shop.

We then headed home and I worked on updating the blog. It took quite a while and I only managed to finish Friday and Saturday. After chicken sandwiches for tea, i watched some TV before showering and then heading to bed.
