Saturday & Sunday 5/6 May (Boynton Beach)

Saturday
Jackie had to go to work today so it was a good time to do all my washing and there was quite a bit of it. I ate breakfast while I put the two loads through.

Once the cloud cleared away and it did not look like rain I set off on my walk. By the time I returned home I had probably walked about two and a half miles.

I found a man made water area with a walkway going over it and saw a large number of turtles.

This then took me past the marina and Two George's, one of the restaurants that overlook the intracoastal waterway and are in sight of the drawbridge. I walked back to the main road and caught a bus for a couple of stops along the way home! I sure was hot when I got back!

As I had a late lunch I only had toast for tea, lol!!

Sunday
After Jackie had her hair done, we went out to the Banana Boat, which is opposite the Two George's, for Brunch. when we left it was a pleasant day, sunnny and warm with some cloud.

We managed to obtain a table that overlooked the water and it was not too long before the drawbridge was in operation.

As we were eating, black clouds covered the sky and it was not long before the heavens opened and it absolutly poured down for a long time.

I needed to do a wee bit of shopping so after finishing our meal, we headed for one of the Publix stores and I managed to get everything I needed. We came home via the Starbucks in Barnes and Noble so I could get my daily coffee, lol! The rain was still very heavy at Publix and when we arrived at Barnes and Noble. As we drove home it started to ease off and we were able to unpack the car and keep dry, lol!

Then it was time to enjoy sitting outside but the Jet Ski riders who were racing up and down the Intracoastal in groups of four or five certainly destroyed the calm! I then needed to update the blog and discovered I had not actually published Friday's even though it was finished, lol!!
