Monday October 16 (Houston to Boston)

I have enclosed a couple photos of Bob and Harry from yesterday. Harry likes to come inside and has definitely adopted Bob, lol!

I was up smartly today as we were leaving at 9.45 to go to the nearby IHop for breakfast on the way to the airport. It was another gorgeous day though thankfully not as hot as it has been, phew! I had the Swedish Crepes, with the Lingonberries, very yummy, lol, thanks MJ! Sweet memories Cheryl, lol!

We were at the airport well ahead of time and so it was farewell to MJ for now. I will remember the long and varied discusses we had! We took off on time and it was a fairly smooth flight with just a few bumps as we approached Boston, we landed 30 minutes early! 

I had to go out into the central parking area to meet the shuttle, it was absolutely chaotic out there! I was waiting where I was told to wait but, unknown to me, the airport had decided to change things around today, lol! 

However, the shuttle driver came looking for me, nice one! It did not take long to reach the hotel as we went through the tunnel under the bay. We had a good view of the Charles River and it looked magnificent. The hotel was very ordinary and needs more than a face lift, lol! However, the person on reception was very friendly and helpful. My room had a great view of the sunset and I could also see Fenway Park home of the Red Sox. 

After I had settled in my room, I went out and got a coffee from Starbucks as well as a few items from Eleven 7, they were only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.



I am only.here for two nights, tomorrow it is the Fall Foliage tour..

My thanks to MJ and Bob for opening their home to me again and making me feel right at home. I had a great visit, the Renaissance Fair was something very different! I really loved the Birds of Prey.
