Thursday May 18 (Rockville)

I forgot to say that as I was waiting to leave the train at Washington yesterday there were two people standing on the other side of the exit. As soon as she spoke I knew she was from Australia. I had to ask them where they were from and they said Cairns! My friend Leo said "Oh, watch out!!", lol, even he knew about the Aussie vs Kiwi thing! Also, I had to put my luggage inside the lower seating area on the train to Rockville and as I collected it I said something to the people inside. As I was waiting for the station, one of the women came out and asked me which part of England I came from, lol!!!

Today was a day to rest up and relax, I was more then happy to do this, lol! Armasis had his teeth cleaned this morning, he does not like it very much, lol! 

I have certainly brought the warmth with me and later in the day we had some cloud and rain with a lovely rainbow. I went to sit outside in the early afternoon and had some sun for half an hour then we moved and sat under the trees at the back of the garden, it was so pleasant! 

There were a few birds singing and we could have been in the heart of the countryside. Then it was time for Armasis to have a bath, he really did not like that, especially the water part but it was a good day for him to dry outside.

We had another lovely tea, a well cooked steak, just how I like it. After tea, we went out to Safeways which has a Starbucks!!
