After a good night's sleep it was time to get my washing done. I was next in the queue after Sarah who was to return home today. Sarah had made a very difficult decision about her cat Gracie. Gracie has been here for the best part of three months and enjoys being with the other cats. After Christmas, Gracie was not happy when she got home so Sarah has decided that it is on Gracie's best interests to be here with her friends. This is a brave decision but I think in the long run it is the right decision.
It was late afternoon when we headed out for an early tea before replenishing household supplies. I had forgotten about the Red Rooster in Greenville and we were heading to a place that serves wings when we passed it.
It did not take Steve long to change our heading and the place was not too crowded. Of course, we enjoyed some of their fabulous biscuits before eating dinner. I had three different shrimps and had forgotten how many you get so I ended up bringing a doggy box home, lol!!
After shopping, Steve headed for the Starbucks so I could enjoy a coffee. Once home, I opened my Mountain Java (moonshine) and tasted it. I then served some up with ice and it did not taste that different from a Bailey's and Ice, lol!
Tuesday
After another good night's sleep I woke up to read emails both from my flatmate and my friend. Sylvie is not well and Grant is taking her to the vet tomorrow, NZ time, it will be this evening my time.
I went into my bedroom and Odi followed me, he loves going in there but cannot stay as he cannot jump over the gate. He hopped straight onto the bed and we had some good snuggle time. Then the microwave beeped and he was off and running, it was tea time for the cats. Odi was so funny, I had to rush to the gate to open it for him!
We had BBQ chicken and salad for tea, it was delicious. After writing my blog and having another delicious Mountain Java I headed off for a shower and then to bed. There was still no news about Sylvie.
