Monday & Tuesday September 12 & 13 (Ayden)

Monday
After a good night's sleep it was time to get my washing done. I was next in the queue after Sarah who was to return home today. Sarah had made a very difficult decision about her cat Gracie. Gracie has been here for the best part of three months and enjoys being with the other cats. After Christmas, Gracie was not happy when she got home so Sarah has decided that it is on Gracie's best interests to be here with her friends. This is a brave decision but I think in the long run it is the right decision.

After breakfast, I collected my washing out of the dryer and folded it up/ After running the vacuum around my bedroom, it was time to attack my blog. I downloaded photos from my IPad and my camera.

I managed to write up Saturday and Sunday and then insert some of the photos.

It was late afternoon when we headed out for an early tea before replenishing household supplies. I had forgotten about the Red Rooster in Greenville and we were heading to a place that serves wings when we passed it.

It did not take Steve long to change our heading and the place was not too crowded. Of course, we enjoyed some of their fabulous biscuits before eating dinner. I had three different shrimps and had forgotten how many you get so I ended up bringing a doggy box home, lol!!

After shopping, Steve headed for the Starbucks so I could enjoy a coffee. Once home, I opened my Mountain Java (moonshine) and tasted it. I then served some up with ice and it did not taste that different from a Bailey's and Ice, lol!

Tuesday
After another good night's sleep I woke up to read emails both from my flatmate and my friend. Sylvie is not well and Grant is taking her to the vet tomorrow, NZ time, it will be this evening my time.

I sent an email to the vet giving them authority to do whatever they needed to do that was in Sylvie's best interest. I feel sad that I am not home to care for Sylvie and that Grant has to cope with this. Obviously, Sylvie was on my mind all day.

I had a quiet day, finishing a book I had started on the way over and then, after lunch I did my ironing. I also took a few photo of some of the cats.

Mattie, Autumn and Gracie all like sleeping on the chair with me so it is a bit of a competition to get up there, lol. I discovered that Gracie does not really like having her photo taken!!

Speaking of Autumn, she has changed so much. She does not spend most of her day in the back room any more, in fact she hardly ever goes there any more. She seems more comfortable with the other cats and does not seem to get upset any more when they invade her personal space. She also played with the trackball for the first time, her inner kitten is coming out, lol!

I went into my bedroom and Odi followed me, he loves going in there but cannot stay as he cannot jump over the gate. He hopped straight onto the bed and we had some good snuggle time. Then the microwave beeped and he was off and running, it was tea time for the cats. Odi was so funny, I had to rush to the gate to open it for him!

We had BBQ chicken and salad for tea, it was delicious. After writing my blog and having another delicious Mountain Java I headed off for a shower and then to bed. There was still no news about Sylvie.
