We had a quiet day today. The house is in Sun City, a development for 55+ people, and there are some wonderful facilities. It is only eight years old but about 3,000 people live here. 
We went to the Lake House, an amenities centre, and I walked 24 laps (1 mile) of the walking track. They have a wide variety of equipment as well as an indoor swimming pool. We had lunch in the Bistro/Cafe, very tasty and inexpensive.We went on to Harris Teeter where I purchased some items I needed as did Irene. Naturally enough, I availed myself of a Starbucks as there is an outlet inside.
We returned home and had a quiet evening. It appears that Sneakers remembers me as she did not run a mile and has allowed me to stroke her many times.
Friday
We were picked up by a friend of Irene's and, along with another friend, we went to a brewery pub for lunch, guess what - I had wings, lol!! Then we went on to FURR, a Feline Urgent Rescue and Rehab (no-profit). 
This is run by a lady who has built a separate building, with several different rooms, that houses between 25 and 30 cats and kittens.
There are some beautiful cats with a mixture of personalities and friendliness, who knows what some of them have been through!
We were there for over two hours and had a wonderful time. We are going back for another visit on Monday!
We had to go out later and fill up the car with petrol, we went past the Starbucks so I was able to have another one!!
I cooked my cauliflower dish for dinner and Irene had some ribs that the cauliflower accompanied.
