Saturday
I had a good sleep and woke up about 10.30 am. We had a quiet morning and, after breakfast, I wrote the text for my blog but have to get some pictures off my IPad to accompany it.

I also took some photos of the house cats. I call them the house cats as there is a back room with cats that will spray in the rest of the huose but they use the litter box in their room, go figure! 

Of the house cats, only one is still shy all the others have let me make a fuss of them. 

I have not quite got all their names but here goes - Jazzy, Odie (both CH), Roo, Hannah (the oldest at 17.5), Lizzie, Rocky, Autumn (who is sleeping on my bed), Pepper and Buddy have all been to me for some petting. Maddy and Swiper are still a bit shy! 

The dogs are - Patches, Tanner, Carter and Kalli. That just leaves the cats out the back to get me head round, lol. It is wonderful!!

I left Autumn guarding my bed from all others.


In the afternoon, we went for a drive round the local area. We drove through Greenville again but this time in the daylight. 

We started by visiting the local vet and saw some of the lovely horses he has to pull a cart that he drives. 

He has a team of two and a team of four. One of his horses is 32 years old but she is retired from the teams. 

There are also several gourd bird feeders, holes are then cut into them for the birds and then they are dried out, very simple yet so clever. 

We went on to a place, 'Simply Natural', a creamery and Jersey farm. They make their own milk, cream and butter. 

I love the milk from Jersey cows as it is so rich and creamy. The ice cream was delicious, I had Black Cherry and Peach, the latter was very tasty.

When we returned, Sarah, Terri's daughter, had arrived. I spent the next hour or so taking more photos of the house cats. 

We had a great tea at Buffalo wings in excellent company, we stopped at a Starbucks on the way home so I could have my after dinner coffee, lol!

Back home and there was time for a few more photos. Pepper is a real lover and she will spend lots of time cuddling up to you. I also had lots of loving from Hannah.
