I rang the SPCA today and arranged for Ivy to have her second vaccination tomorrow. I will ask them to check her operation site as well, there is a lump which can happen but it is quite hard, hope it is not a hernia. It was not this large yesterday!
I will take them back next week some time as I am continuing to work with Cindy-Lou and she is improving, she lets me pick her up sometimes and feels quite relaxed. She is coming to me more when I call her and is definitely more responsive.
Wednesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Ivy (1095 +885), Cindy-Lou (1455, +1185)
I took Ivy to the SPCA for her second vaccination and she was again very vocal in the car. I had to wait a while for the vet to arrive so I visited Chrissy and it was a wonderful visit.
She came out as soon as I spoke and she enjoyed lots of scratching of her neck and head. She has settled in well although is not keen on the other cats. She is showing her sweet nature!!
I then visited the kittens and Magda allowed me to pick her up and give her some cuddles, Frosty also allowed me to hold him but not for too long.
Naza was doing his own thing and zooming around everywhere. There are quite a few kittens in the room so lots of adoptions need to occur.
Back home and Cindy-Lou seemed pleased to see Ivy so I Ieft the door open so they could run about in the passageway. Later when I went out to see them, Cindy-Lou came running down the passageway to greet me, it seems progress is being made!
When I spent time with them, they played quite hard and then Ivy snuggled up on my leg, against my arm and went to sleep. Cindy-Lou lay down near my leg!
Thursday's weights compared to arrival weight: Ivy (1105 +895), Cindy-Lou (1500, +1230)
