A quiet day today, the kittens continue to enjoy some time running up and down the passageway. They like to sleep in different places and Cindy-Lou still likes to hide away on my computer desk to sleep.
They both have good purrs and are really funny when I have a shower as I leave them out. It is part of getting them used to strange noises.
Cindy-Lou stuck her nose right against the glass so that is a good part of her education. I still worry about how she will cope with so many kittens at the SPCA as well as the fact that she is more likely to hang back from adopters.
I also worry a bit about Ivy as she is so small and so feisty. At least she will approach any possible adopters and I think she should get adopted fairly quickly with her personality. Cindy-Lou, being shier, will probably hang back!
Monday's weights compared to arrival weight: Ivy (1065 +855), Cindy-Lou (1410, +1140)
More of the same today, they really do enjoy the freedom of being able to run up and down the passageway. They also love sitting at the open front door and looking out through the security door.
Cindy-Lou only just fits into the plastic container I have been using to weigh them, but she loves snuggling down in it when she is in the mood. Ivy still has a way to go, she is very light framed and when I pick her up I can feel the difference between her and Cindy-Lou.
I have included a cut from the graph of their weights, three of the lines end of course when they went to the SPCA.
Tuesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Ivy (1075 +865), Cindy-Lou (1415, +1145)
