I was out all day and into Sunday evening at the World Cup Cricket match in Napier between New Zealand and Afghanistan. Then I went with my friends back to their place for tea and more cricket, on the TV this time!
When I got home, all was well with my furry friends. I had left the two kittens with their door open and they had not got into any mischief, lol!! They seemed pleased to see me and I spent a wee while with the, before I said goodnight! This was after my shower and Cindy-Lou was quite funny trying to chase the water drops on the door.
On Monday I was quite busy but made sure I visited the kittens a few times. It is so good to see Cindy-Lou gaining in confidence every day and she will run towards me to greet me.
She is also much more relaxed being picked up and her purr usually starts as soon as I talk to her. She really loves to climb on the tree and curl up there with her motor running!
Ivy spent some time trying to catch the camera strap, lol! She also loves to charge up and down the passageway.
They will go back to the SPCA later this week and I hope Cindy-Lou will be OK in that environment. I am quite sure Ivy will rule the roost in the kitten room and I hope she will not keep crying for attention! Whenever any door is shut with her on the wrong side, she starts crying, lol!
Monday's weights compared to arrival weight: Ivy (1150 +940), Cindy-Lou (1515, +1245)
No photos today as I was out most of the day. Kittens continue to thrive so all good for a return to the SPCA on Thursday afternoon.
Tuesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Ivy (1160 +950), Cindy-Lou (1500, +1230)
