Wednesday February 4 & Thursday February 5

Last night, they were hooligans, no other way to describe them, I went in and some were outside their area while they were all dashing all over the place. I think they are worse at night as it is cooler.

Well, today Ivy and Cindy-Lou went to the dark side! By that I mean that they escaped over the far side of the area and that is something I did not want to happen. I received a suggestion today that maybe I should use some netting, this is well worth considering

.I had a good cuddle with Ivy today, she is so relaxed, while Cindy-Lou just cannot leave my feet alone, lol! It was another hot day and I am sure that is why most of them, including Chrissy, were fairly sleepy when I went in for my time with them.

When Cindy-Lou saw Chrissy asleep on the board she was not quite sure what to do, lol! She does have a good stalking mode!

Frosty was trying not to fall asleep and he loves having his tummy scratched, it is easy now to get him purring as it is Cindy-Lu and Naza.

I had to wake some of them up to weigh them and it was easy to pick them up and hold them as they were mostly sleepy.

Magda is all go and maybe that is why she is slower to gain weight! She enjoyed playing with the purple mouse today as did Cindy-Lou. Frosty had played with it earlier and he really growls to let everyone else know not to interfere!

When I left, Chrissy had moved up to the top of the desk and looked very relaxed. It is the best place to get away from the kittens.

We now have three who have reached the kilogram so I think I will ring tomorrow and make the appointment for the four of them plus Chrissy to have their spay/neuter.

Wednesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (930, +685), Naza (1050, +790), Ivy (770, +560), Frosty (1010, +745), Cindy-Lou (1010, +740)

Well, last night they proved they are wild animals, lol! I was in bed and could hear lots of noise. So I went to investigate, they were outside of their area with the "door" open enough so they could zoom all around the place.

I found two weights to put in the cage so it would be a little heavier. They are like a rugby scrum the way they force the "door" open. You can see the "door" in the photo, yes I have utilised the "For Sale" sign I had made for my house!!

This morning when I went in, just before going out to meet my friend for a walk, they were zooming all around but I could only count three plus Chrissy! Ivy and Cindy-Lou, again, were over the back. I had to find a way of stopping them so used the small piece of board, that is behind the litter boxes of my two, to block the way through.

When I returned they were all asleep, obviously the morning exercise had tired them out! Later I returned to spend time with them and they were still mostly asleep so it was easy to pick them up and weight them, although Naza weighed himself. All of them are quite happy to sit quietly in the plastic container.

They then jumped poor Chrissy for a nursing session, even though she is getting tired of them she will still oblige with the milk bar. Ivy was very ferocious today, picking on several of them for a fight, she can give as good as she gets! I would love to know what Cindy-Lou's fascination with my feet is, the others do not have the same interest. Naza jumped her while she was working on my foot and when she did not really want to fight he set about cleaning her ear! Finally, poor Frosty was so wanting to get out over the "door", his jumps were accompanied by the most plaintive cries I have heard in a while, lol!

I came back again and Cindy-Lou had still managed to make her way to the other side, grrrrr, she is driving me nuts!!

I remembered to ring the SPCA too late, they close at 3.30 pm, ridiculous time I reckon. Tomorrow is New Zealand Day so the call may happen on Saturday otherwise not until Monday morning now! I must leave myself a large note to remind me, lol!

Thursday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (945, +700), Naza (1085, +825), Ivy (775, +565), Frosty (1010, +745), Cindy-Lou (1000, +730)
