At one point I walked into the room and found mayhem, kittens all over the place. They are very determined to escape and are pushing the "door" to their area open!!
They really are a challenge. As they get bigger it is going to be worse, I know it, lol.
I spoke to the SPCA today about Chrissy and when they will be weaned. She is ready to leave them and I think they will be fine without her. It might even settle them a bit, who knows. They will also ask the vet to have a look at Ivy as she is lighter than the rest.
Only a couple of photos today.
Tuesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (830, +585), Naza (895, +635), Ivy (670, +460), Frosty (880, +615), Cindy-Lou (860, +590)
I made up for yesterday with photos today!! I walked into the room today to find kittens all over the place, lol!! No matter what I try it seems I cannot contain them. They did crash after this so there was peace for a while.
They have found their way up onto the desk and I have put some cardboard to stop them climbing onto the computer desk. I will find more cardboard tomorrow to make sure that they cannot go over the back, I am sure at least one of them will try that.
They have been very active today, zooming around the area, chasing each other jumping on each other and even tackling each other!
They are full of beans and they must be jumping beans the way a couple of them have jumped up onto quite a high board.
I have prepared their transport for our visit to the SPCA tomorrow. I am going to give Chrissy her own accommodation, it might be a bit much sharing with the five kittens.
I went in to sit with them in the early evening and had some fun. First of all, it was the weigh in and they were fairly co-operative today. Then they really woke up and were zooming around the area again.
I was part of the obstacle course as they went over and under my legs and round the back of me. It is easier to sit as when I stand there are three leg climbers and my legs are carrying the evidence of that, lol!
Chrissy was outside the area having some food and at one point tried to get down the side of the enclosed area, this certainly had the kittens interested. While she was outside a couple went over the top, they are very determined about getting out.
The small tree that I purchased is starting to show considerable wear and of the three arms only one is left and from the photos you will see why. They chew the elastic and break it so I have cut it off the two other balls and they can now play with them safely. The two aggressors in the photos are Naza and Magda.
They are a constant challenge, so full of life and lots of fun. I have been lucky enough to catch some lovely photos of them at times, today it is Naza and Cindy-Lou. The final photo shows Naza who climbed up my back while I was sitting on the floor.
Wednesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (825, +580), Naza (915, +655), Ivy (675, +465), Frosty (900, +635), Cindy-Lou (870, +600)
