Sunday January 25 & Monday January 26

Today was a busy day. After meeting a friend for an early breakfast I purchased some more boards for the kitten area.

I moved the kittens and Chrissy into the bathroom with bed, food, water, litter box and some toys. I then proceeded to take all the boards and cardboard down, vacuum the area and clean the tarpaulin. 

Then I redesigned how the boards were put up and even made a "door" door me to get in and out instead of stepping over the board. 

I popped into the bathroom a few times to check up on them and after exploring thoroughly and playing flat out they all crashed, Magda in one of my shoes, lol, and three of them behind the bed. They looked so comfy!

When I put everything back I added the extra part to the yellow bridge and then brought everyone back into the room. 


They went round sniffing everything, lol, and were a bit wary of the toy extension to start with but one or two started playing and then they all seemed to relax. I also used the yellow "dancer" toy to see if that would help and that got them going!

I went back in later and a couple of them were sleeping in the top part, so sweet. A couple of them have gone back in weight today but they have had a fairly stressful day.

Sunday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (785, +540), Naza (855, +595), Ivy (635, +425), Frosty (830, +565), Cindy-Lou (800, +530)

Well, they are still escaping and I hope I have plugged the gap I think they found. I went in on one visit and found two of them ON the desk and the other three just inside the door.

I went in a couple of times to sit with them but I could only catch them asleep.

The second time I stayed anyway, it was so peaceful and calm! I just weighed each one in turn and a couple basically slept through it, it was the easiest weigh in I have had for ages.

It was nice to be able to stroke them and hear some of them purr. 

Frosty does not like being picked up while Ivy loves it, the others seem to vary on their mood. Chrissy is not a great one for being picked up either.

They have destroyed two of the three "arms" that fit into the toy so they will have to do without, lol!
