Sunday January 11 & Monday January 12

The kittens are enjoying the larger area but they still want to get out, lol!! I went into the room in the middle of the day and they had all escaped!

There is not much room left for escapees and they ad forced their way between the cardboard and the board where I had not been able to tape it.

I managed to make a repair and hopefully they will stay inside now. Once they get bigger though I think they will cause me more problems, lol!

They are drinking water which is good and Chrissy has her own way of not letting them at the milk bar, lol. Frosty likes to go into the litter box and cover up any patches that are not covered!!

I think Cindy-Lou is training for a high wire act and they all love playing with Chrissy's tail. They play hard and then crash hard! Three of them look as if they will have Chrissy's ears, Cindy-Lou shows hers off, the others are Frosty and T-Rudi.

They have all made good weight gains again and finally, T-Rudi is over the 400 gm mark, what a difference between her and Frosty!!

Sunday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (550, +305), Naza (555, +295), T-Rudi (415, +205), Frosty (595, +330), Cindy-Lou (565, +295)

Today, I have had the family for three weeks making the kittens five weeks old.

I also received my first purr, from T-Rudi. I am not surprised as she is always the one to run towards me when I enter the room and she loves being held and cuddled. The others are a way off yet.

I decided it was time to sit down with them so I played with them for about 45 minutes and had a great time.

It appears that Cindy-Lou has a foot fetish, lol! She kept coming back for more! At times all five were on my legs and I know I need to do more of this.

Frosty seems to be the aggressor in any fights and loves to jump the others.

The area was a bit messy so I had to put them in the bathroom while I used the vacuum to clean it up somewhat. This was a bit tricky but it was accomplished. When I put them back they went round sniffing at everything, lol!

They are still somewhat jumpy at sudden noises and I am not sure what to do about this apart from banging around a bit!! I will have to think about that one.

Four of them seem to enjoy the wet food, only Naza has not tried it yet but he is tucking into the biscuits so no worries. I am also giving Chrissy a wee bit, she is almost begging me for some and looks so disappointed when I come into the room without any!

Their weights continue in the right direction and 800 gms is the first target, they can then get their vaccinations. It looks as if it will be two or three weeks for four of them but T-Rudi will take a bit longer.

Monday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (560, +315), Naza (580, +320), T-Rudi (425, +215), Frosty (610, +345), Cindy-Lou (585, +315)
