I have purchased some puppy training pads this evening and hope they arrive soon, otherwise the kittens are bound to wander into the odd pool or two!!
Photos from left to right -
1 is Naza, 2 is Cindy-Lou, 3 and 4 are T-Rudi.
5 Frosty shows his colours
6 is Cindy-Lou.
7 Poor Chrissy, no peace for the milk bar!!
8-12 Frosty shows his prowess as a possible soccer player!
Such assurance from one so young and small!!
I am not sure what Chrissy was thinking!!
The kittens are certainly getting around in their area, some of them are almost running, although it is more of a lurch at the moment.
One or two of them, in addition to Frosty, have shown interest in the larger of the balls I have placed in there.
A couple of them, especially Cindy-Lou, like climbing the sides of the bed and tonight Cindy-Lou disappeared down the back but re-appeared a few seconds later. I am pleased about that as I was worried about what would happen if any of them they went down there!!
They are growing more and more responsive to me and they are becoming increasingly interested in their surroundings, although the milk bar still holds the biggest pull. Proper food will soon be on the agenda and that should be fun!
T-Rudi has finally made the 300 gm mark and seems to be holding her own against all the others!
Tuesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (380, +135), Naza (415, +155), T-Rudi (310, +100), Frosty (440, +175), Cindy-Lou (395,+125)
Every time Chrissy pops back into the main area the kittens manage to wake up and head for the milk bar.
Photo comments -
Magda was a bit late and Naza got a bit lost!!
Frosty and T-Rudi were still in dreamland! Frosty then decided he did not want to miss out, lol!!!
That left T-Rudi on her own! After a short while she decided she also did not want to miss out and burrowed in at the far end!!
That bed is a good height, it is a good challenge for them to build up their confidence at stepping down!!
Otherwise,it was a busy day today and every time I popped in the kittens were asleep.
Chrissy was having time out each time and that is good. She is very interested in what lies on the other side of the door, lol!!
I did notice that someone(s) is using the kitten litter box and it is NOT Chrissy. When I popped in this evening Magda used it while I was there, yay for the girls!!
I only found one puddle today so maybe they are getting the story, they are still quite young so I am happy to mop up after them. They are playing a bit more and there are a few friendly scuffles going on as well. T-Rudi can take care of herself even though she is so much smaller than the rest.
Wednesday's weights compared to arrival weight: Magda (400, +155), Naza (430, +170), T-Rudi (325, +115), Frosty (445, +180), Cindy-Lou (410,+140)
Happy New Year to one and all!!
Next post will be Friday evening (NZ time) or very early morning (EST).
