The area has very much of an Olde Worlde feel with a variety of shops bu many cafes and restaurants. Being a Sunday, there was also a market being held.
I wandered round and then stopped for a coffee and an almond croissant, the lightest croissant I have ever tasted!
Although it was a very hot summer in Britain this year, recent rain had helped the land to green up, it was very pleasnant as we rode through the Kent countryside.
It was situated inside an amusement park and wass not really well placed for views up and down the coast, it has to be one of the worst I have experienced.
The only good thing I can say about Margate is that it has sandy beaches. I never visited when I lived in England and have no desire to visit again, lol, it is one of the seediest places I have ever visited!!

I made my way back to the station and caught a train back to Ramsgate, it turned out it was also going to Ashford International where I could catch a train to Eastbourne so I stayed aboard!

At Ashford station I found, of all things, a Starbucks so it was time for another coffee which I took on the train with me. Along the way, we passed a huge wind farm over to the east of the train!along the way!
Not too far from Eastbourne, I rang through for a taxi and it had just arrived by the time I left the station.
I had been on seven different trains today, lol, some had WiFi others did not which was quite strange!
I was tired but at it was my last night in the current hotel I decided to treat myself to a meal in the bar. I had the Sussex Lamb Shepherd's Pie and a Pear Cider, the meal was nice and hot and tasty but i could not quite finish it all, lol!
