It was another warm day and there was lots of sun around. Steve was home today and worked outside, he turned some of the garden over and mowed the outside grass.
We basically looked after the Barnies and the family of kittens that Terri is looking after for a while.
Tonight for tea, we had the steak that I had purchased with garlic bread, baked potato and cucumber/tomato/red onion salad. It was a delicious meal but we all had steak left for tomorrow, lol, and could not manage the Cherry Pie for dessert! We ate early as Terri and Steve had to go out for the viewing.
I walked up the road to feed the kittens and when I left mum and all three kittesn were heads down in the plate of food, lol! There was a beautiful moon tonight as there was last night!
Sunday
It was another warm day and there was lots of sun around.
I continued to work on my blog and had an issue with the pictures, they were all over the place and this often happens, then the blog did not save so I lost 45 minutes of work, grrr!
Terri and Steve went out to the funeral this afternoon and I did some packing, the non clothing items that basically go in the lid half of my case. That will make it easier for me to finish my packing on Tuesday when I will iron and pack my clothes.
Y'all heard of fried green tomatoes????
Well, Steve and Terri cooked them for tea tonight together with onion rings and fried squash, we also had the rest of the steak to go with it. I ate some of the green tomatoes and they are not too bad, lol!
Then we went over to feed the Barnies again, the tuxedo and white kitten buddy came out to eat and then play again. The mother kitty came home but did not eat while the shy white kitten came out much later and ate some food before disappearing under the barn again! The moon was a beautiful orange colour tonight!
Back home and we heated up the Cherry Pie and served it with some of the Vanilla ice cream I brought back from Simply Natural, delicious!
I got trapped on the big chair by BJ as he decided to go to sleep, lol, so it was a bit late when I went to bed!
