Another quiet day mostly inside although I did go out for a short walk later on. The sun was shining brightly out of a clear blue sky when I woke up but the clouds arrived mid morning so I only saw the sun from time to time
I love taking photos with the snow around as it is still beautiful and white, I am sure it looks so much nicer in the country.
I popped out again for a very short time just on sunset, we have had some really beautiful sunset this week. The glass outer door was covered in frost, lol!!I caught Bruno and Niko sleeping side by side on the couch after Lisa went to work!!
Thursday
It was too cold to get out of bed when I first woke up so I lingered as long as possible, lol! When I did get up it was obvious we had had some more snow during the nigtht!
Harry came home about 1 pm and after a couple of bowls of soup he started to work on Lisa's truck. It was not the best time as it was bitterly cold but Lisa needs the heater working. He managed to get the motor and housing out and then went off to buy a new part. this meant, of course, that when he came back he had to put it in, still in the bitter cold.I went out for my usual short walk and took a couple of photos as the sun was shining brightly from a blue sky today. I have changed my scarf to the one that Connie gave me nearly three years ago when, once again, I was here in winter time. It was February which, everyone tells me is usually the coldest time, it appears winter has come early this year!
Harry left just after 4.30 and is heading to Michigan, I hope the roads and the weather are not too bad for him. He will be back home tomorrow evening.
Once again it was a brilliant sunset and I popped out onto the porch very quickly to take a couple of photos, I did the same again later when the moon was rising. Guido loves playing with springs and, this evening, he was very, very vocal about it, lol!
