I had a quiet day today after the lovely day yesterday. I awoke to heavy rain, much needed I hasten to add. It continued raining well into the afternoon then cleared away to a lovely evening. Even with the rain it was still quite warm today!
Later, I worked on my blog and managed to catch up so i am up-to-date until Saturday!
There was a bit of a "Star Trek" evening on TV and I watched the first two of the latest films. I really enjoyed them and am a fan of these. I think I watched every episode of the TV Series as well as all the films. We then had some of the ribs for tea, they were still very good. Niko came and sat beside me so I offered him a very small piece off a rib, to the surprise of Lisa and I, he took it out of my fingers so gently and ate it. He has never done either of those thing in all his 14 years, lol!!
Monday
Last night was entertaining as we had a storm in the early hours. I was dozing at the time but was woken up by thunder. It was probably worse than the other night and poor Bruno does not handle storms at all. He pants as if he has just run a marathon so I opened up my bedroom door so he could come in and get company. He finally lay down partly inside the cupboard, I reckon he was hiding poor guy. It also rained heavily and there was some bright lightening, it also felt as if one was close to taking the power out but it didn't, phew!
I slept in late due to the storm and finally surfaced in the middle of the day, lol! So I had a fairly relaxed day and later on Lisa took us to get ice cream but thy did not have the sugar free that I liked so I had ordinary Black Cherry. We then drove back via Karlene and Lori and had a nice chat. Aggie, the calico cat, is very friendly but shy Sammy did not want to know about us, lol! We saw a deer on the way home and also followed a rabbit for a short time!
I had ribs again for tea and Niko enjoyed his small share!!
