Thursday May 5 and Friday May 6 (Ayden)

Thursday
I had quite a good night's sleep and I needed it as I had to try and sort out some issues with the TCP webcam that I manage. First though, I tried to contact my friends in Perth but they might have been out as they did not respond, there is a twelve hours time difference.

The software issues on the webcam computer seemed to correct themselves but I am not sure what is going on.

I spent about three hours on various issues and although the camera came back up the broadcast was a bit flaky at times and it seemed as if the Internet was not working yet I was able to connect by remote control. I kept an eye on the cam during the day and it ran well when it was left alone.

I then worked on my blog, so much happened yesterday it took quite a while and then I had to select just a few of my photos. After lunch, Terri went for a nap and I ploughed on with my blog, lol! The cats and dogs were very quiet, although many of them were probably sleeping with Terri.

This morning, I managed to video part of Jazzy playing with two plastic bags Terri had taken out to use for litter! He was so very funny. Later, I also caught Obie washing Hope, so lovely, this was after Hope spent some time nursing on a rug, lol! I also caught Autumn being very sweet!!

The day has been awful, it has rained all day and often been very heavy at times

The sun finally came out for a look at the world at 7 pm, lol!

The reclusive Sophie who I have never seen and lives under Terri and Steve's bed caused a major surprise by walking into the lounge. She stayed for a while then went back into the bedroom only to re-appear not long after!

Matty hopped onto my chair for a while, after she jumped down Lizzie hopped up for a cuddle.

Friday
As per usual I woke up around 4 am and only dozed a bit after that. As I woke up I felt a cat on my feet, but Autumn was beside me, it was Hope, lol, and she stayed for a couple of hours.

I was looking for my second pair of jeans and, after hunting high and low, I suspect I have left them in Okemos, lol! It rained in the morning but was not raining by the time we headed into Greenville to do some shopping. I bought a couple of pairs of shorts in Walmart along with a few other items. We then headed for Arby's for some lunch and then home. The weather was improving and we saw some sun although there were a few black clouds floating around.

After unpacking the car, I managed to mislay my scissors. We hunted high and low, again, and, after going through the garbage, I found them in my jacket pocket. I thought I had taken it off before I used the scissors, OMG! Terri then cut my hair for me, so I am happy again!

Steve then set us up to have a practice shoot. I fired one of his guns and Terri's, a wooden board was our target! When it was hit bits of wood flew out the other side! Terri also shot both guns. We had not been inside long when the heavens opened, Steve told me I had shot a hole in the clouds, lol!!

We had a lovely dinner of chicken wings, salad and home made garlic bread, a combined effort from all three of us, lol!! Sophie did not appear this evening but, at one point, I had Rocky and Matty sharing the chair with me, lol!

I heard from Barb that she could not find my jeans so I searched my room again, for the umpteenth time, lol. There is a table, with a large crate under it, in front of the window and just to the left of it a towel rack. I checked the towel rack, just in case and happened to glance to my right. There, on the floor behind the crate and hiding away were my jeans!! Thank goodness I did not leave them behind, I do usually check carefully! I texted Barb and we had a few LOLs about it!

I certainly went to bed feeling a lot happier!
