Friday April 29 - Sunday May 1 (Ayden)

Friday
After some solid sleep I woke up just before noon!! I had some brunch and then spent time with the animals. It is interesting to note that shy Lizzie, along with her sister Lexi, came to see me for pets.

Last visit, I sat on the floor on my last evening and Matty suddenly decided I might be OK. However, this time she is coming to seek me out and get some petting.

Jazzy is walking somewhat better and Odie is settling down nicely. Hope is a live wire, always busy and poking her nose into things, lol! Autumn has not taken long to remember me and I am quite welcome in her room again, lol!!

Later we went shopping and I was able to stock up on sparkling water as well as a few other bits and pieces. It was a cloudy day and we had some rain but the sun came out later in the afternoon.

I went to bed relatively early but could not sleep again, grrr!! Autumn stayed in the room and did spend sometime sleeping with me.

Saturday
I was not too late getting up today and after breakfast I spent time working on updating the blog and taking some photos and videos.

Teddy entertained us with the vacuum and Hope with a bowl of water in the sink. After lunch I decided to go and lie down and I had two hours sleep with Autumn curled up close beside me.

I changed my clothes and freshened up. As it was a cloudy day and quite cold with very little sunshine I took an extra jacket with me as we went to a Wedding shout for a couple getting married in early June. The theme was Hawaiian hence it was called "Aloha" but it did not matter that I wore every day clothes, lol!! It was a pleasant evening and we did not stay too late although they would have partied on for some time.

I had a cup of tea followed by a shower and then headed straight to bed, I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow!!

Sunday
I had a good night's sleep and was up reasonably early today. Once again it  was a cloudy day and around midday we had more thunder and some very heavy rain, however it is a lot milder today. We headed off to the Simply Natural Creamery and Jersey Farm for an ice cream. They make the very best ice cream I have ever tasted, not good for my body but so good for my soul, lol!!

We then went to visit Terri's son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Sonya, and their two children. Aiden has just turned three, I was lucky enough to go to his second birthday party last year but missed this year by a couple of weeks, lol! He is full of energy and never stops, lol!! He played with us all, including myself, and had a fun time. He even gave me a hug and a kiss goodbye when it was time to leave.

We went up to the workshop to farewell Chris and see he cars he is working on. He works out of home and basically puts large wheels on cars at the request of their owners. People come from all over the US, he had cars from Long Island, Texas and Michigan he is currently working on.

On the way back home we grabbed a Starbucks as we had to go to Walmarts for some items then home to feed the cats. Some of them were too comfy to move and wanted room service, they did not get it, lol!! We then had a lovely pork chop and salad dinner and were joined by Autumn.
