I managed a few hours sleep but still not enough. Rick took the day off so was able to run me out to TCP to resume work on the web cam. Nancy has been unable to make it up here so will not be able to catch up with her. I could not find the modem/router that we had purchased so apart for checking that the Internet was on and making sure the computer was set up correctly I could not do very much apart from spend some time with a few of the cats!!
Jessica gave me a ride home and then Rick took me to Best Buy to get another modem/router. The person who helped us knew much more about this side of things than the people from the previous visit and I had explained the internet was on DSL. Back home I had a sudden urge to check the modem/router and she had given us one for a cable connection. I rang them up and after a long discussion to and fro with a very helpful lass, she managed to find a DSL Modem/Router. Poor Rick had to drive me there again but the exchange was painless and they were extremely helpful. When I checked this one it even had the filter connection so we could run the phone and the Internet at the same time.
After a shower we headed out to dinner at Finleys, this was my shout to my hosts. I ordered a rack of Baby Back Ribs knowing full well I would not eat them all so with a doggy bag to assist, Friday's dinner was taken care of! They were absolutely delicious and the meat fell off the bone.
I managed to make it to bed earlier than usual after a tiring day.
Friday
I was up early today after a few hours sleep, I am beginning to feel like a zombie, lol!! Michele picked me up and off to TCP we went.
We were met by a posse of cats as we entered the min house. I then took some photos of Gold as he is usually hard to find after he has been fed, he often hangs out with Alex. 
Then I worked on the web cam setp and it all fitted together well plus I could see that we had a DSL light, BUT I had to enter the ISP user name and password which I thought would happen. So I had to twiddle my thumbs for a couple of hours waiting for Nancy to get my message and then to get the information.
The ISP actually contacted me directly. It all worked really well and so we now have a web cam at TCP. I will leave it up to Nancy to announce the fact on the Group page. I then had to set up the event and broadcast itI was then able to spend some quality time with the cats and many of them are as friendly as ever. I managed to take a few photos but not as many as last time, lol!!
Michele stopped so I could get another coffee on the way home and then it was time for a shower, with washing waiting to go through the machine. I then attacked the blog and checked out that all was well with the web cam!
I had my second dinner of Baby Back Ribs and they were just as good as as in the first! Later in the evening, an almost white skunk turned up to eat!!
